Carriage House Bed and Breakfast en Victoria

We had a lovely stay with the Dan & Naoko family. Comfortable room and washroom with bath tub to soak in after a hectic outing! Walking distance from Inner harbor and downtown. Easy check-in and checkout without hassles!

Stayed at the Carriage House Bed and Breakfast for three nights while on a brief vacation to the island. As somebody who doesn’t drive but still wanted to make the most of the island experience, this place is situated perfectly close to downtown Victoria while not being close enough to be loud or frustrating. Its about a 10-15 minute walk to get either Downtown or to the water, whichever suits you best. As for the room itself, we were lucky enough to get to stay in the cottage which was absolutely lovely. There was coffee and tea provided for us as well as filtered water, clean dishes and kitchen appliances that were clean and in working condition. The suite was incredibly tidy, quiet and private and there are many options for beds within the room. Due to COVID restrictions, we didn’t see too much of the owners while we were staying there but they did call to check up on us the night we settled in AND wished us well on our way out. They seem like lovely people who are genuinely committed to providing a good experience for their customers. I would 110% recommend this spot if you’re looking for a place to stay in Victoria. I can’t imagine how it could have been any better :)

We stayed there during phase 2 of the provinces re-opening, so we didn't get a chance to have breakfast, but the hosts were extremely friendly and polite. The room was charming and comfortable, and the house is very well located in a quiet neighbourhood approximately 10 minutes from the city centre. It's also right across the street from a decebt pub frequented by locals. I would highly recommend staying at this bed and breakfast.

Absolutely perfect location for easy access to downtown. On site parking and a great breakfast. Lovely character home that has not been modernized too much, so feels totally comfortable to be in!!! Gracious hosts and located in a very quiet neighbourhood. We stayed in the Carriage Room which had its own ensuite. Our son stayed in the Sun Room which had a shared bathroom. Totally fine in all respects. We will stay here again.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at this B&B. Dan and Naoko were great hosts and very welcoming into their home. You couldn’t ask for a better location either- very quiet neighbourhood and a quick two minute walk to the downtown area. Breakfast was provided which was nice to get the day started and the wifi was fast and accessible. Will come back here again next time I’m in Victoria!! Thank you Dan and Naoko

Four of us stayed in the cottage which was a renovated garage. It had a sleeping for five (queen bed in the loft – up a ladder, a queen Murphy bed on the main floor, and a single day bed/couch). It had a dining table and kitchenette with a microwave, stove, sink, and small refrigerator. The bathroom had a separated shower and tub. It was a quaint and comfortable place for us. It was also reasonable priced.||We walked a very short distance to the main house for breakfast and joined the other guests who stayed in the upstairs’ rooms there. Breakfast was made to order and very tasty. After eating a fresh fruit cup, we had our choice of eggs, French toast, hot or cold cereals, regular toast, breakfast meat, and beverages. ||The hosts were very friendly and quite helpful with directions and sightseeing suggestions. The wharf and museum were within walking distance. We chose to drive further into downtown Victoria and around the city, finding travel to be easy. |

We stayed in this place for 2 days. The hosts, Dan and Naoko, were very nice, very helpful, and did everything to make our stay pleasant. They are also fun to talk to.||The breakfast was enjoyable, and the room was very comfortable for 3 of us. ||The location is perfect- it's close to the center and waterfront. There is parking space in the yard, which is great. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

Dan and Naoko are such great people. We stayed in the cottage while in Vic and loved every minute of it. It was very clean, has great charm, and enough space with a loft bed as well. The bathroom is big with a multi head shower and a jetted tub. There is a small kitchen area with nothing fancy but was perfect for our stay. Dan and Naoko were there for anything we needed and their 5 yr old son is also very nice and a fantastic conversationalist! Breakfast was great and they are accommodating to special diets. There is also a pub right across the street! I will definitely stay here again!
