A Good Knight en Victoria

Clean, quiet, friendly and affordable, with a big fresh healthy breakfast, and a short walk to Arbutus Beach. I stayed three nights in this beautiful B&B, and got some wonderful ideas for decorating my place. I would definitely recommend staying here and experiencing the warm hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay. Linda and Stuart are superb hosts and gave us many great recommendations on what to do in and around Victoria. Rooms were extremely comfortable, breakfast was hearty and delicious. We also enjoyed the lovely garden. 10/10 and we hope to be back 💕

We stayed here for 2 nights, while we explored Victoria. A beautiful home full of antiques and a wonderful back garden. It is like an oasis of peace and quiet where we could thoroughly unwind in our month long trip. The breakfasts were beautifully presented like a work of art served with crystal and silverware. And it all tasted so good!!! A full meal to keep you going while sightseeing in the area. Linda was willing to give us ideas of what to visit and how. ||We can highly recommend this lovely place to anyone needing accommodations in this area

Linda and Stu are great hosts. Very welcoming and engaging. I stayed in the master suite which has its own bathroom. The room was spacious, well appointed and I loved the decor. Everything was very clean and comfortable and will definitely stay here again. Breakfast was included and was very tasty.

Traveling to Vancouver Island on a cold, windy, wet day leaves the traveler seeking comfort. Upon being greeted by our hosts Linda and Stewart we knew we had found that comfort zone. Our suite was spacious with a large bathroom and a sitting area. We had extra quilts and cozy robes. We were very pleased to discover that while situated in a quiet wooded neighbourhood we were close to highway access to ferry. We had an early ferry on departure day and Linda and Stewart were kind enough to prepare a beautiful breakfast before we had to head back out into the winter weather. A lovely place with generous hosts.

The moment you open the front door there is such a wonderful feeling of comfort and welcome. Stuart and Linda are wonderful people that have created a gem in Victoria. The rooms are welcoming and comfortable. And the local doe with her fawn, add a lovely touch for the sight seer. They are located close to the University and it is so easy to get out and about from the house. Mount Tolmie is ten minutes away for photographers, and Mount Douglas fifteen away. Downtown Victoria was only ten minutes away in another direction. Breakfast was excellent every day, and that's from someone that doesn't usually eat it!! Amazing breakfasts!! We will always be staying with them from now on when we visit the island.

Linda and Stewart are great hosts and their B&B is really lovely. We stayed 4 nights at "A good knight" and were served a different delicious breakfast every morning. The beds are comfy and the B&B is situated in a really nice residential area. There is bus stop nearby which will take you downtown and back until the late evening hours, even though the commute seemed a little longer than we expected. We enjoyed staying at this tranquil B&B and being just a short drive away from the beaches and Mount Douglas Park. It is located conveniently to the ferry terminal as you don´t have to pass through downtown to get to Swartz Bay. If you want to explore not only Victoria but also other parts of the area I would definitely recommend staying at "A good knight" as you close by to a lot of attractions of the Saanich Peninsula. As we have been out exploring so much, we didn´t find the time to sit in the garden but it looked beautiful. Thank you very much for a nice stay!

Linda, the owner, was very nice. We loved our comfortable and spacious room with its huge bathroom! We were treated like royalty! In the morning Linda made B a lovely veggie omelet, fresh fruit, potatoes, yogurt, and coffee. I had coffee, potatoes and half bagel. A beautiful home with a really nice yard and a fountain. We would highly recommend this B and B.||(BTW, we didn’t get to walk at the nearby park but if you are in the area- it looks wonderful; Mount Douglas Park. Per their website, “At 1.88km2 (188 hectares), the park contains the largest urban forest on the Saanich Peninsula. You can explore this forest on more than 21 kms of trails.” )
