There is absolutely no way someone legitimately wrote a positive review for this place. They must be fake. It's just this dingy dump that stinks like feet and is crowded with loud people partying all night. I left immediately once I got there because there's no way somebody could sleep for even 5 minutes there. Besides that there's no parking anywhere. Then it's super shady outside so you wouldn't want to leave your vehicle there unattended. If you're thinking of staying there please check out the property before you give them any money. They refuse to refund me even though the place isn't up to health standards.
Perfect stay! The location was ideal, close to all the attractions, yet so peaceful at night. The bed was super comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Loved every second!
Parking is very difficult at this location, and you WILL be ticketed for parking even a quarter inch over a red line on the curb if you're parked on the street. There is only street parking. I got a private room for two nights with a shared bathroom. Bathrooms are fine, about the level of what you'd expect at a campground or something. Make sure to wear flip flops. Not dirty, not luxurious, very basic. The room itself was fine, nice and warm, clean sheets and comforter on the bed, and not loud at all. I did receive my deposit back, although it took four days. Helps to take a picture of the room and a picture of where you left the key at the front desk, because they don't really have a front desk person or a manager available most of the time. You'll probably have to call them and wait 20 minutes for someone to show up and check you in, and likely won't have anyone checking you out. I was able to check out by just calling them and letting them know I had somewhere else to be, and they told me that was alright, asked my room number, and told me to leave the key on the counter. Gave it four stars because of the price, otherwise 3 stars. Not many illegal immigrants here like other places. Mostly white and black Americans who keep to themselves.
So here’s my breakdown: Unless you are in absolute dire need of a place to sleep, stay away!!!!!! Booked their only queen size room w/ a bathroom, only to arrive and find it had been already booked somehow. They put me in a private room with no bathroom. Then it took almost an hour to get me a key to a room because the staff on site said his “phone was charging so he hadn’t seen the messages.” from his admin, Aka he just wasn’t paying attention. Trash in the hallways on second floor that no one bothered picking up and the communal hallway bathrooms weren’t the best. To make it worse, upon checking out I was told to leave my key in the unstaffed lobby and would get my deposit back in a few hours. Of course thats an excuse to say they never found the key and to keep your money. Dont bother with this place unless you are DOWN on your luck. Otherwise with them keeping the deposit and putting me in a room that was less than I payed for, I could’ve stayed anywhere else in the valley for that same collective cost. Avoid avoid avoid avoid.
Trying to find a last minute sleeping accommodation in LA on a Friday evening for less than $200.00 is nearly impossible. However, paid $44.00 for a queen room here. I wasn't sure what to think with the low price but the room was clean, spacious and quiet. The gentleman who checked us in, even at 11pm, was helping and accommodating. Made sure we had what we needed and got us settles in quickly. They offer weekly and monthly rates which are great. I will stay again for sure.

I stayed here the rooms and whole place is being completely remodeled. New beds no bed bugs. Very affordable and in walking distance to everything. The manger niso is very friendly helpful. A kind soul at van eyes home for souls. I highly recommend

Las camas estaban limpias y cómodas. Sin chinches. El área de la cocina era adecuada para nuestras necesidades, con nevera, congelador, buena estufa, microondas, electrodomésticos, etc. Ect. Me encanta quedarme aquí, gracias a todos y definitivamente recomendaré Van Nuys Soul a otros. También ofrecemos estadías prolongadas, lo cual es increíble. Ofrece lavandería en el lugar también. Llegué a este lugar a medianoche y, aunque estaban en apuros para hacer reservas, aun así me consiguieron una bonita habitación y fueron muy amables y serviciales. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar, pero si desea garantizar una reserva, reserve más temprano en el día.

Me dieron dos palizas en la litera mientras dormía. Perdí la audición permanentemente en el oído izquierdo, mi tímpano está roto y tengo un pómulo fracturado y contusiones en el cráneo y una lesión cerebral traumática y una costilla rota según las radiografías. Soy. Actriz de drama coreana y soy una niña pequeña. Literalmente peso 93 libras y solo tengo 19 años. Me pusieron en literas después de que él fue grosero conmigo al llegar y me hicieron sentar durante dos horas mientras me asignaba la cama después de la hora de registro. Luego cambió mi habitación de la que reservé y, como mujer pequeña, tuve que dormir en el dormitorio masculino porque no tenía otra opción .
