A1 LA City Hostel en Los Angeles

I had the worst experience in this place. Im a solo traveller and booked in a four females bedroom. And I had a girl that was already living there sleep with me! This was the creepiest thing I ever experienced. She treated the place as her own and that I’m an outsider and not welcomed! I felt extremely uncomfortable and she was staring at me all the time she even woke up in the middle of her sleep just to sit on the bed and look at me!! I was really worried about my safety. She kept the lights on 30min after the quiet hours, and I was too afraid to make her mad because she already said NO. And showed lot of aggressiveness. In the middle of the night she woke up to ask if I sprayed something when I was only sleeping!!! Although I only stayed there for seven hours, they were the worst seven hours in my life . I was so happy just to leave. As a tourist, I should not be sleeping with aggressive people that live there. I should be sleeping with tourist like me. I regret my stay, and definitely don’t recommend to my friends that are visiting from the outside. It’s a creepy area with no parking . Stay away!

Ugly place

The „hostel“ is dirty (bathrooms + rooms), there were no lockers, the rooms were nasty & the beds looked like they weren’t cleaned in a long time. The common area looks bad, there are two couches you do not want to sit on and zwei camping tables (?). This is not a real hostel, but rather a dirt hole. The first thing we were asked by a guy who lives there is if we want to buy drugs. Do not book this!

Nice place. Simple, comfortable, and clean.

This is the cleanest and most reasonably priced hostel in Los Angeles. It is in an area that suggests walking with a friend but the host is awesome and tries his best to make sure you are comfortable. I am very satisfied with A1 and would call it B+1

Ich habe das Hostel im August 2022 für eine Nacht besucht. Pro: Preiswertes Hostel mit kostenfreien Parkplätzen. Küche mit Wasserspender ist vorhanden. Es handelt sich eher um ein Hostel, in dem Leute längere Zeit leben und nicht um ein Hostel für Reisende. Contra: Es war ziemlich warm in den Zimmern. Das Zimmer war zudem recht eng. Die Küchenaustattung war nicht sehr gut, Besteck habe ich keins gefunden. Der „Gemeinschaftsbereich“ sieht aus wie eine Übergangslösung mit Campingtischen und -stühlen, sowie Futons im großen sonst leeren Raum.

El alojamiento es tan malo, que llegamos, lo vimos y decidimos no quedarnos allí y reservar en otro sitio. Todo. Entras y no hay personal. Tanto la gente alojada como el propio inmueble da sensación de inseguridad. No hay taquillas. El propio barrio es inseguro. No se como sigue abierto y como tiene buena puntuación en booking.

Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile, purtroppo nella struttura le condizioni igieniche non sono sufficienti per una struttura ricettiva. Il quartiere inoltre è abbastanza pericoloso, meglio non uscire la sera senza veicolo. È comunque il meno caro della città, ed ha parcheggio interno
